What's a manga?
Let me tell you what a mange is in two simple words.... Japanese. Comic. ... it's that easy! But most of them are read from right to left, up to down. But that gets a little confusing for a lot of people. So F.A.T.E. will be read from left to right, ok!? Don't get confused now! ^_^;
When did you start this project?
The idea was floating around my head for quite some time... And than about 6 months ago from when the F.A.T.E. started, I went to my blackboard and wrote out all my ideas. Than I got my brothers and explained to them my plan. They helped out alot, and in no time, the story line was all planned out. All I needed to do was to get my crew.
It was long or hard to find my crew. I was already in contact with Ky, who was an artist for False Visions, and I had asked her and she agreed! After that I had my Birthday/Pool party, where I met an old friend of mines, Pyra! And I couldn't beleive that she was an anime artist! So she gladly joined. To show me so of her works, she had to e-mail/MSN a friend of hers, DG. And I couldn't beleive that she was an artist/painter, too!! So she joined as well.
So can you beleive that in one week I had my crew and story line all planned out?
Where did you get the idea for F.A.T.E.?
Well... it's kinda a like this. It's a combination of both False Vision and Fatal Destiny (my RPG Maker 2000 game I'm working on)... ^_^;
Each of them both question the world their in, and both question other things too, like their beleifs or themselves. I'm a person who wants to make her readers question the things they never would. And I also had a friend who was beleived alot in fate, and since my family is a family who question the idea/theory of fate, I thought it be cool to make a story about some outcomes of fate!
As for the War of Ancients, it was just an idea to give to people that maybe Elves and Dragons once did exist! As for the Angels, well, I'm a liker of angels, only their appearence, not their beliefs, really... But where the angels are bad, that's all thanks to Angel Sanctuary (anime/manga)...^_^;
What does F.A.T.E. stand for?
When trying to come up with a name for this manga, I wanted it to be related to FATE. But not FATE, because that's too ordinaire. Than I thought I would play around with the word. And I came up with this; F.A.T.E. Forgive All That Existed. And it's prefect, non? I mean, with the War of Ancients and all.
What was the War of Ancients?
Throughout the story, you'll hear about the War of Ancients. A war that happened when man kind was nothing more an infant. The war was between the two most powerful races that age has ever seen, the Elves and Dragons.
Now the Elves were peaceful race, always protecting their forests and any race not strong enought to defend their selves. They lived in harmaony with any race... any race, except the Dragons. The dragons had burned down their forests and killed many innocent races, injured millions and in no time, they seemed like the Gods themselves...
But the Elves, being the only race strong enough to defeat the Dragons, rose up to the dragons and the war had started. The war had lasted for over 100 years, where their where as much killed and ingured as before... prehapes more. But the one night that both the dragons and the elves had gathered all their clans and tribes, was the night that ended the war. There where no survivors... none. Both races where wiped out of existance.
They said that it was the night that it rained blood... and that the angels had opened it's gates to the innocents that had died... But no eleves or dragons... they were... totally erased from existance.
How many races are there?
There are many races that are/going to be mentioned. But it going to revolve around four main races. They will be mentioned through out the manga. But I have brought them into sections. I'll explain;
The first, and by far most, important race is the humans. And must I tell you anything on the humans? Not much, I hope. All I have to tell you is the important facts on them. Like humans are said (and was proven) the be the most volient race. With not only a history of wars and fights... but it's wars and fights against themselves... human VS human... They also spread unlike many animals. But the one thing you should be proud of, is that they adapt. They advance, they try their hardest to survive, for better or worse.
The second race that your introduced to is the Angels. Angels are well known in this world, though they were never seen. It is said they are loyal and very holy, although... in this manga. The persepective has changed. Is what the angels do truly for the gooder of all? Or is there a more greater and deeper meaning to their goals...? This is also known as Rachelle section
The thrid race that is introduced to us is the Dragons. Dragons are a powerful races that is nothing but a myth to us... Just as their are different types of humans (American, Canadain, Jews, Natives, etc) There are different types of dragons. Although, I'll leave that up to you guys to figure out in the manga. This section is also known as the Erik section.
The last major race that's introducted to us is the Elves. Said to be a noble and earth liking creature. They are very in tap with nature and the spiritual world. Although do to some circumstances, they are nothing but a legend, a myth... This is also known as Kelvin Section.
What do you mean by sections?
Through out the faqs and story, you'll hear me ramble on about sections. Well, there are mainly three sections, let me explain; the story is divided into three sections due to the seperate story lines that each character take on.
Rachelle section is also known as the angel section. This is due to several things, one is that companions are angels. Second of all, the angels are chasing them. This section is suppose to be a serious, dark, mysterious story line. But I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll stop here on this section.
Kelvin section is also known as the elves section. Like Rachelle, his compagions have something to do with the elves. And even though elves don't exist anymore, there is some connections with the elven race. This sections is suppose to be a playful, competive, and comedy storyline. Just to balence off from the serious section that Rachelle has
And the last sections is the Dragons sections, also known as Erik section. Not much reason for this one execpt that there is a dragon compagnion and a dragon-related enemy. This section is suppose to be the playful, cute and loving story line. ^_^
I noticed that your characters are similar to the charaters of False Vision, is there a reason?
One word; LAZY. Yeah... I'm a lazy person when it comes to characters. I'm all hyped up about the storyline, but when it comes to characters... XP
But not only are the characters similar in physical despriction, but so are their names! Rick is in both of them (I LOVE THAT NAME!!!). And Rachel was translated to Rachelle, and Kevin to Kelvin, and Eric to Erik. But there is a reason for this!
